A scientifically formulated depigmenting cream designed to target multiple stages of the melanogenesis pathway, making it an important component of ongoing pigmentation management.
The formulation combines tranexamic acid, phenylethyl resorcinol, glabridin, oligopeptide-34 and other tyrosinase-targeting actives to help regulate melanin production, while targeted peptides and copper-chelating ingredients work on melanin formation and transport. Salicylic, citric and tartaric acids, together with retinol, support epidermal renewal and the gradual removal of existing pigment.
Used consistently, LUMINESCENS® Home Cream provides daily, lower-dose melanogenesis suppression between professional treatments, helping maintain results, support barrier function and reduce the reactivation of pigmentation from ongoing environmental stimuli.

At the centre of melanin production is tyrosinase, a key enzyme involved in converting the amino acid tyrosine into melanin. LUMINESCENS® incorporates melanogenic enzyme blockers designed to inhibit pathways involving tyrosinase, helping to regulate melanin production.
The formulation also targets melanin formation and transport, including pathways involving MC1R and copper-dependent processes. This is important because pigment can continue to develop and be transferred from melanocytes into surrounding keratinocytes even after visible pigmentation has formed.
Keratolytic ingredients, including salicylic acid and exfoliating acids, support epidermal renewal and the gradual removal of existing melanin-containing cells. Antioxidants and dermo-normalising ingredients help address oxidative pathways that can contribute to ongoing melanogenesis.
Pigmentation is an ongoing biological process, not a one-time skin concern. Professional treatments provide a targeted intervention, but the skin continues producing melanin between appointments.
